Getting the most out of Traffic Exchanges
There are many traffic exchanges throughout the internet. Many people use them too. Some people seem to have good luck with them, while others try and don't have good results. The question is why? Well first you have to look at the nature of traffic exchanges. You have people who are looking at your web site for 30 seconds or less as they are surfing hundreds of pages. If your website has 5 minutes of content on it to get your point across, you probably aren't going to make it. You might if you can grab the attention of the reader in the first 5 seconds, but it's doubtful. If you're trying to sell something directly off the site, you are probably doing things all wrong too. Let me explain. You probably won't get any paid signups from a traffic exchange ad. That is not good use of your credits if that is what you are trying to do. You should be aiming at either free signups or lead gathering with your webpage. And to get someone's interest perhaps you should give them something to entice them to give you that information. What would you be more likely to respond to: Make money by signing up here for $5 now, or Enter you email address and our company will show you how you can earn lots of commissions for a small investment, plus we will give you an ebook on promotion strategies for free. You see the website going after the leads will build a list of prospects, that they can continue to contact, put into their autoresponder and work on turning the prospect into a sale. It is much easier to get someone to ask for information then to plunk down their money for a 30 second visit. |
